FORMAT FOR PUBLICATION: I will format your ebook or paperback/hardback for publication. $450/first 50,000 words. $35/each additional 5,000 words. Three images, section breaks, title/half-title, copyright, author, also-by, thank you pages included. Choice of drop caps, first line styles, font combinations included. Three additional sessions of typo/minor corrections and uploads after initial publication included. Ebook only or ebook/print package. Additional images, custom section breaks or chapter heading flourishes quoted separately. Indesign available for custom print.
TURNKEY PUBLISHING: All Fiction/Non-Fiction: done right! Authors retain full control over their publishing platforms, choices for cover design, ISBN numbers, and ordering of books at print cost. This service is customized and quoted depending on the services needed to produce a book ready to publish and includes publishing account set-up and/or of the completed book for publication as well as author training on the dashboards as needed. Average cost is $2600 for book that is already edited and ready for formatting, copyedit, cover, and publication.
SYNOPSIS/QUERY LETTER/BOOK DESCRIPTION EDITS: All Fiction/Non-Fiction Involves a couple of emails back and forth to get an idea of your book and you need to provide one of the above for me to edit- I won't create :-) Includes Review changes and notes $85/each USD
CRITIQUE: I'll read the first twenty pages of your fiction manuscript for continuity, logic, pacing, consistent characterization, plot through line, emotional through line, adequate setting, adequate description, effective dialogue, effective structure, consistent point-of-view and voice, varied and active syntax, formatting, punctuation and grammar. This will give you an idea of how to work through the rest of your manuscript before going for a full edit. This is a good way to get an idea of your level of fiction craft, get solid constructive criticism, or to decide if your full manuscript is ready for a full edit or beta read. I read these three days/week and you will receive a time frame when you query so you can decide if it works for you. .015/word USD
BETA READ: You will receive 2-3 pages of general notes on continuity, logic, pacing, consistent characterization, plot through line, emotional through line, adequate setting, adequate description, effective dialogue, effective structure, consistency of point-of-view and voice, varied and active syntax, formatting, punctuation and grammar. No line edits. I may pull examples but don't guarantee I will. $350/up to 400 pages (100,00-150,00 words) Query for longer reads No Swords and Sorcery
